A Bossier City native, Dr. Rainwater earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Centenary College of Louisiana before attending LSU Health Shreveport’s School of Medicine where he received his MD. He remained at LSU Health Shreveport for an internal medicine residency, followed by a fellowship in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism. Dr. Rainwater is board certified in both internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Rainwater lives here in the community with his wife, Sarah, and their children, Wesley and Meredith. At home, Dr. Rainwater likes to spend time with his family. They love to cook together, work in the garden and spend time outside.
